National Lasagna Day - Late

I saw National Lasagna Day listed twice - July 29 and yesterday.  I had all the ingredients since I had planned on making it. So...I'm late on making it!  Does not matter.  It turned out yummy.

I don't really have a specific recipe.  It's pretty much how my mom made it when I was younger with some changes.

Brown ground beef (I used hot Italian sausage, too)

Add spaghetti sauce (Ragu Traditional for me)

Season as you like (salt, pepper and garlic salt)

Simmer for a while, or not.

put a little bit of sauce on bottom of baking dish (13 x 9).

layer uncooked noodles, ricotta, sauce, mozzarella and parm cheese.

Repeat (I don't like ricotta cheese on the top later)

I bake at 375 with the first 15 minutes with foil loosely covering the lasagna.  Bake for another 30-45 minutes until bubbly and starting to brown.

Set out for about 15 minutes, cut and serve.
